Flyin' High

My neck is so strong now, I can go flying with Daddy. Yahoo!

Is Summer Really Over?

I really wanted to wear my summer jumper, but alas, the weather has cooled down a bit. So, I will layer. I am happy with this.

These are a few of my favorite things!

Hugging my bear...
Playing with my hanging animal toys...
Tracking mom and dad from inside my crib...
Standing with Grandpa......and, moving in my saucer!

Adventure to the Rainforest

I'm laying on the moss! Daddy carried me through the rainforest. We went to the Hoh Rainforest just south of Forks--a two hour drive west of Port Angeles. It was a beautiful day on September 7, 2008!

Two Months!

Two months old on Sept. 2! The time has gone by fast in the baby realm mode and we have noted all the progress and pounds she has put on. We will know the exact numbers as later on today she has her 2 month check up--immunization shots included. Yikes. For me. Hopefully, she'll do well (me too).
Gone with the ole' newborn sizes, for the most part. In with the 3-6 month sizes. Gone are the days of wearing the smallest diaper cover size; she's now wearing the next size up (for a few weeks now). In with smiling spontaneously and batting at objects in front of her. Out with 5 alarm blow-outs...just kidding, I'm sure we'll enjoy these for the months to come...!

First Big Trip

Michaela did well on her first big trip across the Puget Sound and over to the Yakima River to the property near Cle Elum. She slept cozily in a tent trailer (thanks Guy and Mimi); in fact, better then her mom...Well, she had fun hanging out with family and enjoyed all the hugs, holds and attention given to her. We all had a good time over Labor Day, enjoying the sun, floats down the river and even an outing to Leavenworth. (Mama's camera cut short though, the battery ran out!)
